Personal Information

Dr. Ashish Phophalia is a valued faculty member at IIIT Vadodara, holding a Ph.D. (2016) and an M.Tech. (2010) from DAIICT, and a B.E. (2008) from Raj University. His research spans image processing, pattern recognition, soft computing, and medical image analysis. Dr. Phophalia served as a research assistant on a BRNS-sponsored project addressing robust face recognition, and he currently contributes administratively as the Faculty Convener for the Training and Placement Cell at IIITV and as Treasurer of IEEE’s Gujarat Section. A life member of IUPRAI and active IEEE member, he has earned accolades including the Best Paper Award at NCICT-2011.
