Prof. Dharmendra Singh is a globally recognized scientist in microwave imaging, AI-based remote sensing, and computational electromagnetics.
Currently the Director of IIIT Vadodara and formerly Senior Professor at IIT Roorkee, he has over 30 years of teaching and research experience spanning Japan, Germany, France, Spain, and China.
He has authored 400+ research papers, guided over 70 postgraduates and 48 Ph.D. scholars, and developed cutting-edge technologies in radar, satellite applications, and AI for agriculture and defence.
Prof. Singh has received National e-Governance Gold Awards (2019 & 2020) and is ranked among the top 2% scientists worldwide in electronics and telecommunication (Stanford University 2021 list).
He has held visiting scientist positions at DLR Germany and Niigata University, Japan, and coordinated the Drone Research Center & Common Research Technology Hub at IIT Roorkee.
