Personal Information

Dr. Gautam Kumar is a renowned academician and researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at NIT Delhi. With expertise in image processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, and robotics, he leads the Visual Computing and Robotics Lab at NIT Delhi, driving research in visual surveillance, biometric security, and healthcare technologies.He holds a PhD from NIT Rourkela and an M-Tech from the Central University of South Bihar. His innovative work earned him second place in ISRO’s Innovative Idea and Design competition. Dr. Kumar is actively involved in guiding PhD, M.Tech, and B.Tech students and contributes to professional communities like IEEE and ACM as a journal reviewer.
