Mr. B. S. Gugale is a veteran Defence Scientist with over 36 years of experience at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). As Associate Director and Scientist ‘G’ at ARDE (Armament Research & Development Establishment), Pune, he played a mission-critical role in India’s artillery advancement. He led the project of one of India’s most advanced multi-barrel rocket System, and oversaw several strategic projects focused on solid rocket propulsion and quality assurance for high-tech defence systems.Even post-retirement, his commitment to nation-building continues through his leadership as Ex-Chairman of the Institute of Defence Scientists and Technologists, where he remains an active voice in driving research and knowledge exchange in core defence domains.
