Dr. Babji Srinivasan is a leading academic and researcher in the emerging fields of cognitive systems engineering, behavioural informatics, and human-cyber physical systems. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), where he’s actively shaping how technology adapts to, interacts with, and learns from human behavior. With a solid foundation in instrumentation and chemical engineering, and over a decade of interdisciplinary research, Prof. Babji’s work focuses on integrating human decision-making with intelligent systems—especially in complex environments like healthcare, energy, and automation.
