Prof. Kamal Kishore Pant is Director of IIT Roorkee and a globally recognized expert in chemical engineering and catalysis.
With 35+ years of academic and research experience, he has guided 50 PhD students, published 300+ research papers with over 21,000 citations, and holds multiple national and international patents.
His pioneering research focuses on green catalysis, CO2 capture and conversion, clean hydrogen production, biomass conversion, sustainable energy, and waste plastic valorization.
Prof. Pant has led 55+ high-impact projects valued at more than INR 1.5 billion in collaboration with industries and government organizations.
He has served as Dean (Faculty) and HoD at IIT Delhi and holds adjunct and honorary positions at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Queensland.
